How does the pan granulator work to granulate materials?
The fertilizer pan granulation facility makes powders into pellets by centrifugal force. Then how should you do to operate it?
- Put the materials into the inlet on the top. Then the granulating disc will rotate after feeding materials.
- Spray moderate water in accordance with the effect of granules. Thereupon, you can see the materials rotate in the disc. Because of the centrifugal force, friction and gravity, the materials will become pellets gradually.
- The scraper can clean the agglomerations which stick on the disc wall. Then the materials granulate perfectly to have a good pellet appearance.

Answer: Generally, when you use pan granulation machine for pelletizing, the moisture content of raw materials should be about 25% to 35%. And after the granulation, the fertilizer granualr will be wet and have high moisture content. Whether for your transporting, storing or commercial using, it will be better for you to dry them. You can dry them naturally by air or using our fertilizer dryer for drying your fertilizer granules.
