Buying Guide2026-04-22

Organic fertilizer production line costs are usually quoted per complete set, not per machine, and the range is wide: from roughly USD 30,000 - 80,000 for a small powder line to USD 200,000 - 800,000+ for a 10 - 20 t/h granule line.

The single biggest cost driver is whether you produce powder or granules. A powder line needs composting, crushing, screening and packing. A granule line adds mixing, granulation, drying, cooling and coating — and the dryer plus its heat source is often the most expensive single addition.

Capacity moves the number in steps, not smoothly: moving from 3 t/h to 5 t/h usually means a larger granulator, dryer and boiler, which can double the price of those items. Automation is the second major driver — PLC batching and automatic packing cut labor but add cost.

Site costs are often underestimated: foundations, buildings, electrical supply and freight can add 20 - 40% on top of equipment. Installation and commissioning usually run 5 - 15% of the equipment value.

The reliable way to budget is to ask for an itemized quotation with capacity and power listed per machine, then add site works and freight. Send us your raw material and target output and we will provide exactly that kind of breakdown.
